Amir Abdur Rahim is a former American football player who played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on December 26, 1976, in San Diego, California.
Rahim attended the University of New Mexico, where he played college football for the Lobos. He had a successful college career, rushing for over 2,500 yards and scoring 22 touchdowns.
In 1999, Rahim was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Miami Dolphins. He also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Jets during his NFL career. Rahim played in a total of 25 games in the league, primarily as a backup running back and special teamer.
